Expat Reception

The biggest social event for internationals in Aarhus!

Expat Reception is an annual tradition with over 700 attendees who can relax with their family, and socialize with other expats while enjoying some complimentary refreshments.

The event will be kicked off by the Mayor of Aarhus, Anders Winnerskjold, followed by music to enjoy and network. 

We need English speaking volunteers for the following tasks:

Children area: Will watch the children, guide them to the face-painting lady and maybe hand out goodie bags

Info table: The volunteers need to help with general questions, hand out pens for the human bingo etc., and give information about IC services and events

Welcome entrance: For the first 30 minutes, there will be 4 volunteers to hand out food vouchers and

drink vouchers (1 of each per registered person). When the rush time of people arriving is over, 2 of the volunteers will go to other areas, where help is needed. The volunteers hand out programs that contain a map, vouchers, human bingo etc.

Back door: The back door must be closed for entrance, but people are welcome to leave through the door
